Driving Instructions

We are located in the seaside town of Salthill just one mile from Galway City.

Driving from:

From Limerick/Shannon Airport (route N18)

From Limerick/Shannon Airport on the N18, as you approach Galway, follow signs for Galway through 3 roundabouts. At the third roundabout, take the first left (Galway City East/Docks). Pass Galway Crystal, then straight through another roundabout. Continue going straight until you reach the next roundabout.

At this roundabout take the first left. Continue on this road for a few hundred yards, the road then divides into two so take the road to the left. The lake should be on your left hand side. Keep going straight ahead and pass the Harbour Hotel. Once you pass the hotel and the docks turn left, following the signs for Salthill (R336). Continue pass the docks and take the last turn right on this road. Stay on the left lane and continue on straight ahead and over the bridge. Continue on straight through the lights.

Keep going straight ahead through another two sets of lights. After the 2nd set of lights go straight ahead and the road veers to the left - take this route. Continue on straight ahead until you reach another roundabout. You have now reached Salthill. Take a left at this roundabout (1st exit). Go straight ahead, you will pass the Waterfront hotel and take the next right. Continue on up the hill. There should be a park on your left. Keep going straight on this road. You will come to a shop on your left hand side, our house is two doors up on the right hand side. Our house is number 48, Ontario House.

From Galway City

Follow the signs for Salthill/Spiddal (R336). At the bottom of Eyre Square (at the Great Southern Hotel), take a left at AIB Bank. Continue on down this road and take the last right. Keep going straight ahead, you will pass by the docks. Take the last turn right on this road. Stay on the left lane and continue on straight ahead and over the bridge. Continue on straight through the lights. Keep going straight ahead through another two sets of lights. After the 2nd set of lights go straight ahead and the road veers to the left - take this route. Continue on straight ahead until you reach another roundabout. You have now reached Salthill. Take a left at this roundabout (1st exit).
