About Our House

Ontario House B&B is owned and run by Anne and John Markland. Our home is situated in the seaside resort of Salthill, overlooking Galway Bay. We are a five minute walk from the centre of Salthill and within walking distance of Galway city.

Salthill is an ideal location due to its close proximity to Galway city where visitors can enjoy both a seaside holiday and a city break. Our B&B in Galway is also located close to attractions such as The Burren and Connemara.

Galway City

Galway City offers a wide variety of events year round such as The Galway Races, The Arts Festival and the Galway International Oyster Festival. There are also a number of historical places to visit in the city and county.

Our Location

Open for Business

Our bed & breakfast is open all year round except for the Christmas period (Dec 15th - Jan 5th).

You can check in at anytime. On arrival you will receive the key to your room and a key to the front door so you can come and go as you please.
